Yo BoltHype, Where Ya Been?

At the beginning of the 2006 season I was contacted by AOL Sports and hired to be a contributor to their upstart AOL Fanhouse; a collection of top bloggers covering their favorite team. I had a lot of fun working with AOL and blogging the Chargers amazing 14-2 season. The Fanhouse turned out to be a huge success and I learned a lot about how to make a blog successful. Blogging for AOL took up a significant portion of my free time because daily posts are fairly important. The readers appreciate the frequent updates that the Fanhouse provided. My personal Chargers blog, BoltHype, was neglected as a result.

No more.

I have some great stuff planned for the 2007 season, and there will be things to look forward to in the coming weeks. A new layout is in the works, and I'll upload that as soon as I finalize it. It should make the website much more readable. I also plan to bring on some team members to help post on the blog, so the search is on. T-Shirts are also on the way, and should be here by summer time. I'll be giving away a bunch of those shirts, so stay tuned for that. Podcasts/vidcasts? Yep, thats also in the works. And of course I will be covering the Chargers public minicamps/training camp sessions with player interviews, photos, and live blogging.

2007 is going to be a big, big year for the Chargers and all the fans. Make sure to subscribe to my feed to stay up to date on all of the coverage here at BoltHype.
