Mock Draft You Can Be Proud Of, Scout.com

I usually get a good chuckle reading some mock drafts out there on the internets. But suprisingly enough, Scout.com has a full seven-rounder up and its actually pretty good. Tom Marino handled this mock and he covered the Chargers' need areas very well and maximized our picks' value, for the most part. The only real criticism I have is that he failed to draft a Running Back for the Chargers. However, Pinnock and Gross could adequately fill the void if once Michael Turner leaves.

Here are his picks:

Round 1: Dwayne Jarrett, WR
Round 2: Aaron Rouse, S
Round 3: Leroy Harris, OG/C
Round 3: Stewart Bradley, LB
Round 4: Brandon Mebane, DT
Round 5: Ryan McBean, DT
Round 5: Juwan Simpson, LB
Round 7: Kevin Payne, S

I could live with this draft.

I'm loving the receiver and safety picks, and I hope those guys really are available when we go up! I question two DTs in a row, though. I know we need someone that JW can mentoer so they are ready when he leaves, and maybe this is just the scatter bomb approach and hoping one is good? I would love to see more depth at running back, and maybe even 2 safeties picked up, since b. jue is so often injured, and that leaves only Clinton Hart.

Keep up the good work!
