LT Thinks Rivers Will Play Sunday

Philip Rivers took a third of the snaps in practice today, and although he is listed as "Doubtful" for Sunday's game, his teammate Ladainian Tomlinson thinks Rivers will play.

"Being out there today practicing, I don’t know if [Philip] will be able to go but seems like he will be able to at least try...

To me he looked fine. I was surprised the way he looked. He actually looked pretty good. I asked him how he felt out there and he said pretty good. In my mind he’s a tough guy and for him not to be able to play is going to take a lot."

Rivers has been playing for sometime now with a banged up knee and while he has fought through the injury in the past the injury has taken a toll and at this point he is going to be a game-time decision for Sunday against the New England Patriots.

I wonder if the cold weather will have any effect, either positively or negatively, on his knee injury...
