New Era Scouting didn't just come up with these rankings willy nilly. There was a very scientific process implemented to arrive at these conclusions. And in case you were wondering - Pro Bowl appearances apparently equate to jack shit.

Worst rankings I have ever seen. Another guy listed too low is Vince Manuwai of Jacksonville. And Aaron Sears is someone who is pretty close to making an NFC pro bowl squad. Terrible...
actually pro bowls don't mean jack.
cowboys anyone. roy williams a pro bowler and they wanna run him out of town.
pro bowl is a fan suck fest, slurp slurp slurp
Obviously the NFL clubs seem to think Dielman is a top guard. He was part of the group of linemen who got big paydays last season:
Leonard Davis, Kris Dielman, Derrick Dockery and Eric Steinbach all signed deals last offseason that were worth at least $6 million. Alan Faneca signed a 5 year deal for $40 million.
If Dielman is in the same salary class as those players, and is also young, durable, and a Pro Bowler, is he REALLY only the 23rd best guard??
Actually, if you look at the score next to his name, he is tied for 3rd place with like a million other guys. So, being the 23rd best is not really accurate.
check that, i meant tied for 4th place....
@the guy above
sure he might be tied based on his score, but that score is way too low anyways for a guy like Dielman. Not that it means a whole lot, but his Madden 09 score is 94.
First off any rankings that have about half the Guards in the NFL tied for 4th place is a very poor ranking.
Second even if Dielman is tied for fourth based on score there are a bunch of others "ahead" of him.
Where's Mruczkowski? He should be in the top 75 or so... but he's not on the list at all. Tony Pape and Corey Clark made the list... but not Mooch? Maybe he's not classified as a Guard....
