You guys remember that movie back in the late 80's called "3 O'clock High"? It was basically about some kid getting bullied at school and he had to fight the school bully at 3 o'clock after school. Anyway, the principal ends up getting his butt kicked by the bully, and he turns to the kid and says "Don't F%$# this up!!!" Meaning he better beat the bully's ass.
Well, Norv is the kid, and the potential bully tonight is the Oakland Raiders.
Honestly, we've had it good for quite some time now. The last time the Chargers lost to the Raiders was in 2003. 5 years ago! And since then, we've pretty much had our way with them. Our meeting earlier in the season was a bit of a panic, but the boys pulled it off. But, like we've seen with the rest of this dismal season, the smallest of plays (or lack thereof) can be the difference between winning and loosing.
Its nice to have the bragging rights we currently hold. And disappointed Raider fans always bring a smile to my face, especially considering the type of season we're having. But honestly, beating the Raiders twice in a season like this would be a great consolation. I'm not looking forward to the day we actually lose the next game to them, and I hope that won't happen tonight.
So fight hard boys! And Norv, please, DON'T F$%* THIS UP!!!
