Kevin Ellison Signs A Four-Year Contract With The Bolts

Safety Kevin Ellison agreed to a four-year deal today, as reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune. Terms of the deal were not immediately released.
The Chargers and Ellison's camp were at odds over the length of the deal; the Chargers wanted a four year deal, whereas Ellison's camp was pushing for a three year deal. Coach Turner voiced displeasure over Ellison's absence at the start of training camp, and said it could affect his ability to make the roster.

With both the picks immediately ahead of Ellison and behind him signing for deals in the $1.85 million dollar range, it is expected that Ellison secured a similar deal for himself.
