i preferred rashad jones or myron rolle, the are bigger, why aj loves undersized safety? guess he wants to see another runningback run over us :(

hmmm, never heard of him- but after reading the scouting report, seems like AJ got good value out of this pick. The scouting report said he could go anywhere from the 1st to third round. We did fill a need- I guess, in AJ we have to trust.

some footnotes off of the scouting report on Stuckey......

"He totaled 98 tackles and five interceptions during that season (2008) and that earned him All-Big 12 First Team honors by just about everybody."

"Through ten games of the 2009 season, Stuckey leads the Jayhawks with 73 tackles and has added 3.5 tackles-for-loss, one sack and one interception."

"By his sophomore season he was a regular starter and ranked fourth on the team with 72 tackles and picked off two passes."

"He ended up leading the West team (East/West Shrine Game) with seven tackles and should be a third round selection at this point"

"At 6-1 and 205 pounds, Stuckey might not have the ideal build for a strong safety, but his versatility could help him move up into the second or even first round. Stuckey has been well tested in the passing game in the pass happy Big 12 and has proven that he can be very effective in pass coverage. But Stuckey can also creep up and get into the backfield."

looks like a versatile player...might be the guy to play free safety and allow weddle to play strong safety. what we need is an ed reed type of ball hawk...maybe stuckeys the guy...

there is some better footage on Stuckey. Looks to be a solid safety and hopefully can be a special player

Jammer, and now Stuckey...good names in the backfield.

looks bigger as you might think. hopefully he is a ballhawk. seriously, the defense was good after they got in rhythm with the Dline rotation (or in other words when they finally stopped opponents run games), but the lack of ints was obvious.

whats with the comments about Stuckey being small, and AJ liking small safetys? These kinds of comments are what is small, they just don't measure up to the facts. He's same size as Eric Berry. He's bigger than Ed Reed.
