Lorenzo Neal Football Camp

The Lorenzo Neal Football Camp begins today, and runs through Thursday at San Diego State University. The camp is available for kids ages 7-18, and will feature Neal along with a number of current and former Chargers. Check out the full press release below.

"All-American Sports Camps is hosting the Lorenzo Neal Football Camp at San Diego State University from July 11th-14th. The camp is available for ages 7 to 18 and is broken down into four age groups: 7-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. The aim of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of the game that are often overlooked by other camps and training regimens. Four-time Pro Bowler Lorenzo Neal, formerly of the San Diego Charges, as well as other current and former Charges, such as Ryan Matthews, Junior Seau, Darren Sproles, and others will work with the coaches at the camp. Additional autograph sessions and an educational seminar on recruiting will also be provided.

Lorenzo Neal is a four-time Pro Bowl and three-time All-Pro fullback that played for eight teams in his NFL Career. He is regarded as one of the top blocking fullbacks to ever play the game and has blocked for a running back that has had over 1,000 yards from 1997-2007. Additionally, he has been named to both the Sporting News’ and the NFL team of the decade for the 2000’s. He was also a two-time All-Big West player during his years at Fresno State.

All-American Sports Camps aims to teach the fundamentals of football to all of its campers. With a motto of “Hard Work Pays Off” All-American Sports Camps believes that by starting with teaching the fundamentals of the game, young players will then have the foundation to build their skills and succeed regardless of coaching scheme. All-American Sports Camps also believes that being well prepared in the core skills will breed confidence in young players.
