Brett Favre Says Rivers Is "Good"

Brett Favre shares with Deion Sanders his favorite current QB and who reminds him most of himself. Watch "NFL Total Access" on NFL Network at 5 p.m. Wednesday for the next installment.

How about Philip Rivers?

"Good. It looks like he's laboring. 'Man, it look like that hurt when he threw that.' No disrespect because the guy has played extremely well. I like his competitive nature."

Agree with Favre's responses? Did Rivers get enough props? Some of the quarterbacks mentioned were Super Bowl winners, yet Rivers has yet to win a you think that weighs on Favre's decision? Share your take in the comments section below!

Rivers is one of the best QB in the league. First Brady, second Brees, from there u can put who u like. I put Rivers, he will break all of Dan Fouts records in San Diego, plus he will get to go to a SB. Thats not to bad huh?????

it's a fair assessment. why do i take that route? simple Eli and Ben were in the same draft class, yet i believe they are far inferior as passers to Rivers. so why do i agree that Brett's take on the Chargers QB? Bothe Eli and Ben have 4 things in common. Both have great defense. top ten or top five. both have running games that are outstanding. the obvious the both have Championships, two apiece. and the fourth here it comes, both have great coaching.

I think Brett Favre is an idiot. I couldn't care less what he says, even about QB football talk. He has shown that he has poor judgement across the board in his personal life, and in his football life. And, before anyone goes on & on about what a great QB he was... sometimes being a great QB gets overshadowed by being a complete tool! He couldn't even have Aaron Rodger's back, after Aaron did a GREAT job after Favre left. Favre wouldn't mentor Rodgers while he was there... made sure Rodgers never got an opportunity to start while he was there... and bashed him after Rodgers PROVED that he was as good of a QB as Favre was (in my opinion anyway). The day that Favre goes away for good will be the happiest day of my life. I mean, he got caught by his wife having phone sex with some skank, and his wife had cancer at the time. He is a horrible toadie, and that's all I have to say. Not to mention, he is blowing smoke up Tony Romo's ass... really dood? That's who you think is most like you? Doesn't surprise me, because Romo is an idiot too.
Go Rivers!!!!
