The Chargers have placed wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu and center David Molk
on the “Reserve-Injured” list with hand and thumb injuries,
respectively. Both players were injured during last Sunday’s game
against the Cincinnati Bengals.
They will be replaced on the active roster by center Colin Baxter and guard-tackle Stephen Schilling.
Baxter,
6-3, 310 pounds played in five games with the Chargers in 2011. He
originally joined the team as an undrafted rookie from Arizona and also
spent time with the New York Jets where he played in three games with
two starts. He was released by the Chargers at the end of training camp
this year on Aug. 31.
Schilling,
6-5 and 308 pounds, was a sixth-round draft pick by the Bolts in 2011.
He played in nine games and started one game each at right and left
guard as a rookie. Schilling was also released on Aug. 31.
