The San Diego Chargers have made another change to the team's offensive line and a quick replacement for injuried running back Ryan Matthews by signed running back Edwin “Rock” Baker to the active roster from the team’s practice squad.
Baker,
5-8, 200 pounds, was the team’s seventh-round draft choice this year
out of Michigan State. He had been on the practice squad since the
beginning of the season.
At
Michigan State, Baker amassed 2,293 all-purpose yards and 19 touchdowns
during his collegiate career. He led the Chargers during the 2012
preseason in both carries (22) and yards (59).
