The San Diego Chargers released tight end Randy McMichael, the team announced today. McMichael spent the last three seasons (2010-12) with the Chargers, appearing in all 48 games with 35 starts. The 11-year veteran caught 59 passes for 543 yards and two touchdowns. He joined the Chargers as a free agent in 2010 after playing eight seasons in Miami (2002-06) and St. Louis (2007-09).
