The San Diego Chargers have re-signed veteran long-snapper
Mike Windt to a four-year contract, the team announced Saturday.
Windt
has served as the Chargers’ long snapper since 2010 when he joined the
team after Game 5. He handled all snaps in 2011 and 2012 until a
broken hand ended his season in Week 11 last season. Windt suffered the
injury Nov. 18 against the Broncos.
