This really isn't the case for most D tackles, especially considering how important a role Jamal Williams plays in stopping the run. If we wanted a player like that we wouldn't have resigned Ryon Bingham, because he already plays that role. If we're looking for an eventual starting NT, look at Frank Okam from Texas or one of my favorite prospects, Red Bryant from Texas A&M. Athyba Rubin also fits the bill. Big guys like that are the types of players who have an outside chance of adequately filling Williams' shoes, not Pressley or Balmer. We might draft one of those types, but not to play NT unless we're really desperate.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29413397.post-82520007639898450142008-04-09T13:24:00.000-07:002008-04-09T13:24:00.000-07:002008-04-09T13:24:00.000-07:00He can provide fresh legs at DE to avoid injurys t...He can provide fresh legs at DE to avoid injurys to Castillo/Igor while gaining weight to eventually replace Jamal. The interview itself also asked if teams were looking at him as a DE in a 3-4. If we draft him it won't be to play NTAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
